Anek Lines was established in Chania, Crete in April 1967. Its establishment was a result of the great need to create daily connections between Crete and the mainland.
In 1970, KYDON, which was the first craft in the fleet of Anek, started its daily route between Piraeus and Chania.

DODEKANISSOS SEAWAYS

Dodekanisos Seaways was established in 1999 in Rhodes with the vision to offer regular connection between the main islands of the Dodecanese and the mainland of Greece. Very soon, George and Yiannis Spanos, who are the owners of the company, realized that there was greater need to connect the smallest islands of the Dodecanese such as Nisyros, Chalki and Kastelorizo to the bigger islands like Rhodos and Kos which were daily connected to the mainland by other ferry companies already.

ZANTE FERRIES

Zante ferries

Zante Ferries is a Greek ferry company that covers itineraries both in the Ionian Sea and the Cyclades. In particular, the vessels of Zante Ferries run the routes from Killini (Peloponnese) to the Ionian islands of Kefalonia and Zakynthos and also from Piraeus to islands of Western Cyclades.

The ferry company ANES was established in 1979 mostly by residents of Symi and Rhodes, two islands of Dodecanese. The aim of this greek ferry company was to facilitate and reinforce the commercial and tourist traffic of Symi, connecting it to the neighboring island of Rhodes and encouraging the residents to live permanently on their island.

Lane Lines is a subsidiary of ANEK LINES. With its only vessel, F/B Vitsentzos Kornaros, this ferry company serves routes in the western side of the Aegean Sea. Particularly it serves routes from Piraeus to Monemvasia and Kythira and also from the mainland ports of Gythion or Kalamata to Kithyra, Antikythira and Kissamos Crete.

Its fleet consists of two vessels and during the summer, they offer regular routes between Chios in Greece and Cesme in Turkey.

MEANDER TRAVEL

Meander Travel was originally founded in 1977 and has its base in Kusadasi, Turkey. This company serves ferry schedules between Kusadasi port in Turkey and Vathy port in Samos island, Greece. Its ferry runs these schedules daily in summer season.
